PHOTOGRAPHS
Here are some shots I took from around Ernie's showroom. This should give you some sense of the quality/type of products his company showcases. Spending time searching through the many interesting room compartments that make up the showroom, I discovered that Gaspard's product line isn't limited to just furniture/lamp/wall accessories/etc. Many original/one-of-a-kind antiques ranging from nineteenth-century sculptures to strings of coral imported from around the world decorate the showroom. As you see in many of the photographs, these antiques seem to pair with a particular arrangement or set of furniture, adding a sort of retrospective elegance to the contemporary/art deco products.

Notes to Self (and, perhaps, others as well). Unanswered Questions, Random Thoughts/Feelings, Notes, Rants & other assorted text

From Yann Martel's novel, 'Life of Pie'

"The three-toed sloth is not well informed about the outside world...If you come upon a sleeping three-toed sloth in the wild, two or three nudges should suffice to awaken it; it will then look sleepily in every direction but yours. As for hearing, the sloth is not so much deaf as uninterested in sound. Beebe reported that firing guns net to sleeping or feeding sloths elicited little reaction. And the sloth's slightly better sense of smell should not be overestimated. They are said to be able to sniff and avoid decayed branches, but Bullock (1968) reported that sloths fall to the ground clinging to decayed branches "often".
How does it survive, you might ask."

"Life will defend iself no matter how small it is. Every animal is ferocious and dangerous. It may not kill you, but it will certainly injure you. It will scratch you and bite you, and you can look forward to a swollen, pus-filled infection, a high fever and a ten-day stay in the hospital."
