GrD3000: Personal Logo Design. Sketches + Drafts

For Gregg's GrD 3000 class, our first assignment was to create a logo for our own hypothetical design company. This logo was limited to contain just our initials (along with any accompanying graphic elements). As I made sketches for the logo, I thought specifically about the different types of graphic design work my company might be involved with. Thus, most of them are quite thematic, i.e....

Light Socket sketches=product design

Jester Hat sketches=comic/cartoon/illustration as well as personality examination influences

"W" with "A" shadowed in background sketches=retrospective/kick-back/duality/geometric

Record/Needle (or maybe crop circles?) & many towards the bottom=music design

My Clients: Current subjects I'm working with to improve their graphic identity

The images seen below are existing company logos/signage/etc. I will post a separate category to show my own work towards the objectives.
*Note: Having trouble uploading the images for Paul's & Fantasyland for some reason. Will post as soon as it allows.

Objective: Pretty much, this guy's company is thriving to the max & doesn't seek to make any changes in their logo. However, Andres' business card is clearly in need of refinement. So my job is to clean it up a bit & apply physical embossing.
